The European Central bank says it has restored normal operations of its real-time gross settlement system T2 after reporting the second incident in a week, affecting settlement of euros and Danish krone.

Today (July 6), in the early hours of the morning, the ECB said in its operational status page “T2 is currently facing an incident impacting the processing of payments”. The bank reported a similar disruption to the processing of payments a week earlier on June 29.
