Trump likely to continue pursuing Cook while seeking further influence over monetary policy

The Supreme Court’s ruling in favour of Lisa Cook will not end US president Donald Trump’s efforts to exert control over the Federal Reserve, experts tell Central Banking.
In a ruling on June 29, a majority of justices decided that the US administration had not followed proper procedure when Trump last August used his social media platform to announce Cook’s removal as Fed governor for alleged irregularities in filing mortgage applications.
Obviously this is good news for central bank
