Improving data quality is the number one focus for supervisory authorities that are looking to upgrade their data collection processes, the Supervision Benchmarks 2026 find.

Among 35 authorities that supplied data in this section, nearly 90% say data quality is a high or very high priority. Respondents were asked to give scores for different priorities in improving data collection, on a scale of one (very low priority) to five (very high priority).
